Eton College is soliciting entries for the first Malcolm Arnold Prize Essay. The prize, established by The Malcolm Arnold Trust and The Malcolm Arnold Society, is intended to promote scholarly inquiry into the work of one of England’s leading composers. The winning essay will receive £1000 and there will be a special prize of £250 for the best essay written by someone under the age of nineteen.
The winning essays and perhaps a runner-up will be published in Maestro, the annual magazine of the Malcolm Arnold Society!
