Jon Lord always acknowledged that without Sir Malcolm his treasured musical experiment would very quickly have descended into chaos, and he was never able to talk about the Concerto without crediting him. I consider myself privileged to have stepped into his shoes to keep the music alive for a new generation. It has long been my hope to bring the music of the two composers back together in the Royal Albert Hall
